The Tracy Camp is about a quarter mile off of Route 28N at the west end of the Town of Newcomb.

From the South (Albany area): 

​

  • Take the New York State Northway (I-87) north to exit 29 (North Hudson-Newcomb).

  • Turn left under the underpass at the end of the exit ramp on the Blue Ridge Road. and go west about 25 miles to the end at Route 28N.

  • Turn right on Route 28N to Newcomb. Go through the Town for about seven miles. 

  • You will pass the Newcomb Central School and the entrance to the Santanoni Preserve.

  • Turn right on Fennessy Lane at brown house with yellow trim, just before Aunt Polly's Inn

  • Go all the way to the end of the road.

  • Camp is A-Frame with Green trim on the right, on the water. 

From the North (Plattsburgh/Montreal): 

  • Take the Northway (I-87) south to exit 29 (Newcomb/North Hudson. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Continue as above. 

From Syracuse Area: 

  • Take NYS Thruway to exit 33 (Vernon).

  • Take Route 365 East through Barneveld to the end.

  • Turn left on Route 8 to Speculator

  • In Speculator, turn left on Route 30 to Indian Lake.

  • In Indian Lake turn left toward Blue Mountain Lake

  • In Blue Mountain Lake take a right on Route 30/28N to Long Lake

  • In Long Lake, continue on Route 28N (Stewart's on the right) eastbound towards Newcomb, for 14 miles.

  • Pass the Visitor's Interpretive Center on the left 

  • Take a left at the next road, Fennessy Lane, across from Plan B Wood Products.

  • Go all the way to the end. Camp is an A-Frame with green trim on the right, on the water. You have arrived!

From Watertown area: 

 

  • Follow Route 3 East through Harrisburg to Tupper Lake. Turn right in Tupper Lake on Route 30 South to Long Lake. At the intersection with Route 28N, turn left towards Newcomb. Continue as above.
